Search Engine Optimisation for Tracking School

Online Tracking for a Real Life Tracker.

Tracks4Life
Box of Blue works with Jonathan Simons from Tracks4Life, a UK Tracking School, to deliver monitored online marketing solutions.
June 2009

Due to the nature of our business we are fortunate enough to work on a broad variety of projects within an equally broad variety of industries, and every now and again we meet some extraordinary people.

One such person is Jonathan Simons. On the face of things Jonathan is a fairly unpretentious chap who keeps animals, loves the outdoors, and has a keen interest in ecology, but underneath all this Jonathan has quite an extraordinary skill. He is a tracker - and by that we mean Apache Indian style, ear to the ground, can follow an animal over pine needles type tracker!

Jonathan has tracked people and animals in many countries across the world including the USA, Poland and Africa. He writes for Bushcraft & Survival Magazine, appears regularly on BBC radio, is working on a number of TV and DVD programmes, and runs his own Tracking School in Exmoor.

Box of Blue were asked by Tracks4Life to help raise the company's online profile so that they might better engage with their ever growing outdoor audience, and this is precisely what we're doing. Current campaign strategies include viral marketing, social networking, search engine optimisation and even smartphone apps are now on the cards – all of which we will be monitoring using our own kind of tracking techniques.

We insisted that Jonathan showed us some tricks to help us locate some missing coffee mugs in the office... I think we need some more practice.
