ASP.NET Website Development for Microsoft Partner

AdeoPoint, specialists in developing and deploying Microsoft SharePoint solutions, approached Box of Blue and gave us the task of branding, designing and developing their web presence... and we had less than two weeks to deliver it. Fortunately we enjoy such challenges and so it was game on.

For AdeoPoint, the key factors for success were that the site had to be brand sympathetic towards its sister company ConsultCRM, it also had to be easy and quick to maintain and above all else used Microsoft technology - not unreasonable for a Microsoft technology solutions company you might say.

For us, in addition to these success factors, the Content Management System had to be quick to implement but also solid and reliable, easy and quick to theme (which isn't usually the case with open source Content Management Systems), and it had to maintain all the accessible and valid XHTML mark-up we created.

The system that ticked all these boxes was Umbraco.

Within our two week timeframe Box of Blue designed AdeoPoint's new brand, followed this through into a fully accessible website design, implemented the site into the Umbraco content management system (including building some custom .NET and XSL modules), and went live.

Box of Blue are continuing to work alongside AdeoPoint on several Microsoft SharePoint projects so watch this space.
